John Mitchell - Owner & Project Manager
John founded Paving Demo Site after more than a decade working in the landscaping and construction industry. He manages every project personally, from the first site visit to final sign-off, making sure every job meets the highest standards.
Craig Douglas - Lead Installer
Craig is a highly experienced hardscaper with specialist skills in driveways, patios, concrete pours, and paving installations. He manages the team on-site, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, and to a flawless finish.
Emily Kerr - Customer Liaison & Office Coordinator
Emily handles customer enquiries, schedules appointments, and keeps projects organised behind the scenes. She’s the first point of contact for new customers and makes sure every client receives clear updates and honest pricing.

Hardscaping Installer

Salary: From £12.50 – £15.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Role Description:
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a hardscaping installer. You’ll work on a variety of projects including driveways, patios, paving, concrete installations, and garden landscaping.
The role involves hands-on work outdoors, preparing groundworks, laying materials, and assisting with site clean-ups. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
About You: You’ll be someone who enjoys practical outdoor work and takes pride in doing a good job. Punctuality, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are more important than years of experience.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Previous experience in landscaping, groundworks or construction is an advantage
Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work in all weather
Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a small team

Labourer/General Operative

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Labourer / General Operative to support our team on a range of hardscaping and landscaping projects.
Your day-to-day work will involve assisting with groundwork preparation, moving materials, site tidying, and supporting the installers with various tasks. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking to get hands-on experience in the construction and landscaping trade.
About You: You’ll be someone who’s not afraid of physical work, enjoys working outdoors, and takes pride in being part of a hard-working, reliable team. No formal experience is required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Requirements:
Reliable and punctual
Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work
Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
Previous labouring or construction experience is a bonus but not essential
